Nanchang International Sports Center is located in Honggutan New Area of Nanchang, adjacent to Ganjiang River in the east and adjoining Shengmi Bridge in the north, and mainly consists of five monomer buildings, i.e., stadium, comprehensive gymnasium, tennis center, swimming and diving training hall and comprehensive training hall (public fitness center). Besides the 7thNational City Games, it can also be used to hold other national and individual international events.

Planning and design

Planning and design:
By building a central audience platform, the site is divided into north zone and south zone, the former of which is the image zone of the plot, faces downtown Nanchang and prominently highlights the image of the stadium as the most important building in the entire building complex via Shengmi Bridge. The south zone is the dynamic zone of the plot, and is laid out with the gymnasium, tennis center, comprehensive training hall and swimming and diving training hall in a symmetric and compact pattern.

M&E design

M&E design:
•Adoption of temporary dedicated diesel generator, UPS and other facilities and equipment to ensure reliable power supply
•Design of site lighting according to our national and industrial standards, meeting the requirements of major events in domestic
•Adoption of intelligent lighting control system and preset lighting scenario control
•Adoption of IP technology, and transmission of security, broadcast and other system signals based on the control network
•Adoption of building equipment monitoring system and energy consumption monitoring and management system to effectively save energies and provide data support for the establishment of energy-saving strategies by managers
•Building of cold source centers by north and south zones, realizing their high-efficiency configuration and energy-saving service
•Adoption of a secondary pump system for the air conditioning waterway of the three halls in the south zone for the purpose of energy-saving service
•Design of air conditioning systems by zones in the competition hall, thus achieving zonal control
•Adoption of weak current system integration technology solution as a centralized embodiment of “Technology-based National City Games”
