China Unicom is a well-known brand in China’s communication industry. To fully embody its extraordinary bearing, the designer has introduced concise form, elegant details and delicate nodes for Shenzhen China Unicom Tower; while the tall, straight and upright vertical lines constitute the main texture of the tower, the indistinct glass windows, light, sunshine-flooded atrium and vertical texture jointly produce the seemingly partly hidden and partly visible characteristics of the virtual IT world. The westward shift of the tower’s transportation hub ingeniously creates a full-height atrium space, effectively introduces outdoor landscape and light rays into various parts of the building, and organically links it up with the top lofty and bright glass hall. The shared hall looks down at the new central district, and far into Luohu Lake, thus fully embodying the boldness of vision of the headquarters tower.
