On the morning of October 15^th,2012, the second awards ceremony of the CCDI Tianjin University Awards Fund for Excellent Young Teachers was officially held at the School of Architecture of Tianjin University, which was attended by Zhang Xin, Dean of the School of Architecture of Tianjin University, Zhang Yukun, Secretary of the CPC committee, Kong Yuhang, Associate Dean of the School of Architecture of Tianjin University, Shan Zengliang, founder of CCDI Group, Dai Xiaoli, Deputy General Manager of CCDI Group, Zhang Lijie, Manager of the CCDI Human Resources Business Support Center, Li Wen, Manager of the CCDI Human Resources Operation Center, and some other students and teachers of the School of Architecture of Tianjin University.

The awards ceremony inherited the purpose of the second awards ceremony, which was “Facilitating Teaching and Research and Developing New Talents”, as CCDI had always been dedicated to developing academic forces for China’s architecture education and encouraging outstanding university teachers of architecture to reach higher levels. CCDI’s intention was to develop the core teaching faculty for the School of Architecture of Tianjin University, and provide young teachers of architecture with further support in academic research and practices. Teachers receiving the incentive awards include Wang Zhigang, lecturer of the Architecture Departmentof the School of Architecture of Tianjin University, Cao Peng, Deputy Directorof Tianjin University’s Key Scientific Research Base for the Surveying, Mapping and Research of Historical Constructions that was designated by the State Administration of Cultural Heritage, Xu Xiwei, Deputy Director of the Urban Planning Department of the School of Architecture of Tianjin University, and Zhang Chunyan, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Committee of the School of Architecture of Tianjin University and Vice Director of the Research Institute for Landscape Architecture.

At the awards ceremony, Shan Zengliang, founder of CCDI, and Li Wen, Manager of the CCDI Human Resources Operation Center, delivered speeches respectively entitled “CCDI’s Development History” and “Talents and CCDI”, which enabled all the students and teachers present, especially those soon to be graduated from the School of Architecture,to deeply reflect on questions such as how to adjust themselves to the society with a right attitude and in a right way, what they can learn from the stories about entrepreneurship, and how to make use of their own capabilities to achieve their personal value.
