Tianjin Cruise Terminal
The project is located at the southernmost end of the East Bonded Port Area of Tianjin Port, and can berth the largest cruise in the world.
Project Location: Tianjin
Building Area: 57,745m²
Building Height: 35m
Client: Tianjin Port (Group) Co., Ltd
Designed/completed: 2008/2010
Product Category: Public building, government office and utilities, rail transit and transportation building
Specialty Involved: Building, structure, M&E, curtain wall, interior and landscape

The landmark terminal designed by us is the starting point of the “New Maritime Silk Road”, and, upon being put into service, it will be able to handle the customs clearance of 4,000 passengers on two luxury cruises. The commonness between “sea” and “silk” in form provides the inspiration of the architectural molding, and shadows are projected on the GRC surface in an unpredictable, elegant and graceful manner; there are no straight ups and downs or standard structural units in these forms, and the indoor space, also changing with the contour, is dynamic, romantic and extended.
