Located in Tongliang District of Chongqing, the project is 45km away from downtown, and occupies a floor area of 1,645mu and a total building area of about 1,600,000m2. It is not only a national animation industry base and a key cultural industry project in Chongqing’s “12th Five-year Plan”, but also the host place of West China Animation Cultural Festival, one of the three major animation festivals in China. It also aims to build itself into the benchmark of indoor & outdoor theme parks in Chongqing, the first RDE recreational destination, the highland of the West China animation industry and the chief animation brand & industrial base in China.
Client demands: fully embodiment of the cultural theme of “dragon” of Tongliang, thoroughly market-oriented project function planning, integrated development of recreation, commerce and catering, and development of a schematic design fully considering staged development demands.
Phase I construction projects: large-scale parking lot, Zhan Bo Centre, animation-themed museum, animation-themed hotels, lakeside cultural block, Dragon Water World, open children park, Fusang hotel, parent-child interactive experience centre, scientific & technological interactive experience centre and residences. Through the combination of diversified functions, it has efficiently cultivated its vitality, avoided its risks, created an integral layout and spatial image, and rationally estimated the input-output benefit in Phase I.
