The design consists of over 70 professional laboratories as well as supporting office and conference service facilities and other infrastructure, and can fully meet technical platform construction and R&D team demands. The R&D platform requires the combinations of experimental teams of different scales, and its working space adopts modular layout. The modularization of architectural planes can not only simplify the design of structural column grid, but also achieve orderly plane layout, interface-based electromechanical design and overall decorative design.
As a core and landmark building in the National Bio-pharmaceutical International Innovation Park of Tianjin Binhai New Area, it imposes extremely high requirements on both architectural image and functional setting. There is still a very large gap between domestic and international professional R&D institutions in terms of engineering design. Such high-tech industrial service projects usually lead the trend in the international architectural design field, and are landmarks embodying the high technical level of international engineering design. Thus, this project aims to challenge and ultimately realize this goal. As for the contents of engineering design, it consists of over 70 professional laboratories as well as supporting office and conference service facilities and other infrastructure, and can fully meet technical platform construction and R&D team demands. We have also introduced a brand-new design pattern to break the traditional design pattern, and bring the design of high-rise laboratory buildings onto a new stage. In terms of design manifestations, the modernist representation style is fully explored to realize the unification of architectural aesthetics and use functions, and build it into a first-class laboratory building in domestic. The project is high-rise bio-pharmaceutical R&D laboratory building rarely seen in domestic and in the world in recent years.
