Grand Hyatt Hotel is well known for its extraordinary style, grace, elegance and creativity, and has outlets distributed in numerous international metropolises and portal cities. Following the outlets established in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hong Kong and Taipei, Grand Hyatt Hotel Shenzhen became the sixth outlet established by Global Hyatt in the Greater China region, and represents its first penetration into the Shenzhen market. The completion and opening of Grand Hyatt Hotel Shenzhen have to a very large extent elevated the urban quality of Shenzhen MixC area, and transformed the high-end hotel market pattern of Shenzhen.
Grand Hyatt Hotel Shenzhen is one of the luxury five-star hotels most closely combined with urban complexes in current China, and it has joined hands with China Resources Building, Park Lane Manor and MixC Commercial Centre to create a fashionable urban multi-use commercial entity. Seen from urban space, they have a very strong connectivity and accessibility, and present a well-proportioned penetrating relationship in spatial form, supported by the extremely convenient transition among catering, resting, shopping, meeting and many other different behavioural modes. The sophisticated environment of the complex has also bred the “folding fan-type” design of hotel style, that is, the well-arranged advance and retreat of different blocks of the building can not only meet the demand of arranging the number of guestrooms required by the investor in the limited base scope, but also endow the building with an extraordinary presence.
As a prominent feature of spatial construction, Grand Hyatt Hotel Shenzhen has transformed the traditional check-in flow line of low-story lobby, and introduced a unique “sky lobby”. That is, after entering the hotel from the main entrance, guests can take any one of the four high-speed elevators directly to the sky lobby on the 31th floor, and this is the first step of the unique check-in experience. After handling the check-in formalities, they can transfer to other floors via either of the other two elevators. In the process of handling the check-in formalities and finding their rooms, they will have a more perceptual knowledge of the overall image of the hotel and the prosperous urban landscape of Shenzhen.
Relying on its sophisticated and mixed design mode, Grand Hyatt Hotel Shenzhen has realized a unique sky lobby and an architectural image with a strong sense of depth, and has thus become another eye-catching high-rise building in this metropolis.
