The project is located in the south of Songshan Lake National High-tech Development Zone, Dongguan, and, by virtue of its adjacency to downtown Dongguan, Tongsha Ecological Park, Songshan Lake and nearby public green space, it enjoys extremely superior natural conditions. It aims to fully bring into play the ecological and environmental superiority of Songshan Lake, and build an ecological R&D and office industry park. Its main functions include CIMC Container Business Division Headquarters Building, investment promotion exhibition centre, multi-story office space and nine medium and small-sized enterprise headquarters buildings. Its design is combined with the enterprise culture of CIMC, and has incorporated many other design elements, like “ocean” (introduction of Songshan Lake water system into the landscape environment of the park), “revetment” (office mode of linking the headquarters building with unit islands via dynamic rings), “container” (structural form consisting of investment promotion exhibition centre and massing-stacked medium and small-sized enterprise headquarters buildings), etc.
