Upholding the planning concept of “Above the sea arises the moon agleam and hanging round. Afar as we're apart, in present core our hearts do bound.”, the design proposes the design idea of “STAGE CITY”. As a public cultural complex open to the residents of Cixi, STAGE CITY provides them with an opportunity to listen to the past and look into the future of this city, and enhances their cultural self-identification. Integrating cultural creativity, scientific popularization & training and commercial retail and emphasizing the combination of participation, enjoyment, knowledge and entertainment, the project is both a cultural & entertainment destination open to all age groups, and a highly dynamic and popular around-the-clock cultural cluster.
